We meet regularly either on weeknights at/after 7:00 pm, or on Sunday afternoons. We are currently meeting virtually or in person following all CoVid protocols including social distancing and appropriate mask use.

January 10, 2024, 12-1 pm – MANTS Meet-up – We will meet at the Cavano’s booth at noon. Bring your lunch, business cards/flyers, and a potential new LIL member. Wear your LIL nametag if you have one.
February 10, 2024, 2:3:30 pm – Annual Membership Meeting, plus Virtual Floral Cocktail/Mocktail recipes and demonstrations.
February 15-16 – Chesapeake Green ’24.Meet-up on Thursday at lunchtime. Vendor Table volunteers needed.

2023 Membership Calendar
January 12, 2023 – Meet-up at MANTS. Bring other potential new Ladies in the Landscape members with you. Meet on the second-floor Starbucks at 12 pm sharp (top of the main entrance escalators and turn left). Let’s get to know each other and please be ready to share what support you need, what opportunities you have or are looking for, and/or what types of collaboration you are interested in 2023. This meeting will last one hour. Feel free to bring your food with you.
February 12, 2023, 3 pm – Annual LIL Member’s Meeting at Babikow Greenhouses located at 7838 Babikow Road, Baltimore, MD, 21237. We will tour this iconic growing facility and vote for our 2023 LIL Officers. Please plan to attend. A quorum is required for voting. We will also discuss our 2023 event calendar. Bring your ideas and suggestions.
February 16, 2023, 12 pm – Meet-up at Chesapeake Green ’23 in the lunchroom. Bring fellow ladies working in the green industry. We will connect and network while enjoying the delicious food offerings of the Maritime Conference Center.
March 22, 2023, 6:30 pm – Webinar “Pollinator Meadows – Design, Install, and Manage” presented by Wendy Brister. The naturalistic meadow garden presents a unique set of benefits and challenges in the residential landscape. We will discuss installation techniques, management requirements, and design considerations based on client expectations. Case studies, including several highlighting my failures, will be shared.
